Cuore(2021)

The title "Cuore," meaning "heart" or "emotion" in Italian, reflects the intention to express the ever-changing movements and sentiments of the heart. The installation features branches of the "Shara" tree (Saraca asoca), known as the "Sal Tree" in Buddhist tradition, and wisteria vines. These are adorned with red and pink antique kimono fabrics, carefully cut and wrapped around the branches, creating a gradient of red hues. The materials and patterns evoke a sense of traditional Japanese aesthetics, inviting viewers to experience the textures and colors reminiscent of kimonos.Materials and Techniques
